Bangladesh Embassy in Ankara issues certificates in English based on requirements and merit of the case:
NATIONALITY CERTIFICATE:
Nationality Certificate is issued on the basis of the particulars contained in the passport. For nationality certificate, one must produce his/her passport to the Embassy, photocopy of passport is not accepted.
BIRTH CERTIFICATE:
Birth Certificate is normally issued on the basis of the date & place of birth mentioned in Secondary School Certificate (SSC). In absence of SSC certificate, passport may be accepted. Birth registration certificate/extract of register issued in Bangladesh attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka can be submitted for Birth certificate.
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE:
Original Nikahnama attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka and passport of the applicant should be submitted for marriage certificate. It may be noted that, as per existing law age of the Bridegroom should be 21 years vis a vis bride’s age must not be less than 18 years. One set of photocopy of Nikahnama needs to be submitted for the Embassy’s record.
UNMARRIED CERTIFICATE:
Unmarried certificate only be issued on the basis of original certificate issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Dhaka and attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. No other document is considered valid for this purpose. Passport of the applicant needs to be submitted with the above document. One set of photocopy of the documents should be submitted for Embassy’s record.
DIVORCE CERTIFICATE:
Divorce certificate is only be issued on the basis of original certificate issued by M/o Home Affairs, Dhaka or Divorce/Marriage Register, attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. No other document is considered valid for this purpose. Passport of the applicant should be submitted with the application. One set of photocopy of all documents to be submitted for Embassy’s records.
FAMILY CERTIFICATE:
Original Nikahnama attested by M/o Foreign Affairs, Dhaka and the passport of the applicant should be submitted. Original birth registration certificate/extract of the register of birth issued by the competent authority in Bangladesh attested by M/o Foreign Affairs, Dhaka should be submitted with the application. One set of photocopy of all documents should be submitted with the application for Embassy’s records.
OTHERS:
Beside the above certificates Embassy may issue any other certificate as per requirement by the applicant.
Fees: US$ 20 for each certificate.
