Replacement of old Passport:
Those who already have Bangladesh passport to be expired on its’ ten years term or already expired (10 years) can apply to the Embassy for a new passport. Applicant has to submit the followings to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
a) filled in Bangladesh Passport Form
b) 4 copies photographs (40mm X 50mm)
c) old passport
d) Turkish/Bulgarian/Azerbaijan residence card/work permit
e) fees (bank deposit slip)
The holder of the passport may not come to the Embassy for interview; his/her representative can submit the application.
If the pages of a valid passport are exhausted, the holder can apply for a new passport following the same procedure as mentioned above. New passport booklet will be issued for validity mentioned at the previous passport.
If the passport is somehow considered damaged, the holder of the passport can have a new passport by surrendering damaged one and follow same procedure as mentioned above. In such cases, holder of the passport has to be personally present at the Embassy.

New Passport against lost one:
If the passport is lost, holder can apply for a new passport. Applicant has to submit the followings to the Consular section of the Embassy:
a) a police report for lost passport
b) photocopy of the lost passport or document in support of Bangladesh nationality.
c) duly filled in prescribed application form (Bangladesh Passport Form)
d) 4 photographs (40mm X 50mm)
e) fees (bank deposit slip)
In the absence of the police report the Embassy may decline to issue new passport.
If the passport (lost) was issued by this Embassy, passport particulars will be verified with records and new passport will be issues. In case, the passport (lost) was not issued by this Embassy, issued by the Department of Immigration and Passport in Bangladesh or any other Bangladesh Mission abroad, the application for passport will be sent to the issuing authority for necessary verification. On receipt of clearance from issuing authority new passport will be issued.

New Passport for Child:
A child may remain endorsed in his/her mother’s passport up to the age of 12 years. In specific cases, based on real necessity, the Embassy may issue passport for a child before the age of 12. The applicant has to submit the followings to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
a) photographs of parents
b) a filled in passport application form with finger impression of the child
c) passport of the mother/father (where the child to be or was endorsed)
d) 4 photographs (2 stamp sizes)
e) fees (bank deposit slip)

Passport renewal:
The Embassy renews/extends validity of the passports. Representative of the holder can submit the form for renewal. Applicant needs to submit the followings to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
a) filled in passport renewal form
b) resident permit
c) fees (bank deposit slip)
If the passport submitted for renewal was issued by this Embassy, particulars will be verified and renewal will be done accordingly.
If the passport submitted for renewal was not issued by this Embassy, issued by Passport & Immigration Department in Bangladesh or any Bangladesh Mission abroad, the application for renewal will be sent to the issuing authority for necessary verification, on receipt of clearance from the issuing authority renewal done.

2. Ordinary delivery (3- 7 days): US$: 20 per year
Child endorsement:
Name, photograph and particulars of new born child (born in Turkey, Bulgaria or Azerbaijan) can be endorsed at mother’s Passport. Applicant has to submit followings to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
a) child’s photograph (3 copies)
b) birth certificate issued by the Hospital
c) mother’s passport
d) residence permit
d) fees (bank deposit slip)
It is not necessary for the child or mother to come to the Embassy in person for such endorsement. Parents name must be included at the birth certificates issued by the Hospital or competent authorities.
A child can be endorsed in his/her mother’s passport up to the age of 12 years, after that separate passport should be issued. In such cases, particulars of the child will be deleted from mother’s passport, which (mother’s passport) needs to be submitted with the application.
Name & particulars of a child could be endorsed in his/her father’s passport with written consent of the mother.

Endorsement or correction of name:
In case of inadvertent errors in the name of the holder in passport, necessary corrections can be done. In such cases, applicant has to submit the followings:
a) S.S.C certificate authenticated by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. OR
b) Affidavit from the court of First Class Magistrate, authenticated by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

Please note that only correction in name can be done, full name can not be replaced.

Endorsement or Correction of Date of Birth:
In case of inadvertent errors in the date of birth of the passport, necessary corrections can be done. In such cases applicant has to produce the followings:
a) S.S.C certificate authenticated by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. OR
b) Affidavit ( by the concerned person/ parents) in the court of First Class Magistrate, authenticated by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.
c) Original birth registration certificate/ extract of the birth register authenticated by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka
d) fees (bank deposit slip)

2. Ordinary delivery (with in 3-7 days): US$ 40
Endorsement of recent photograph:
Recent photograph of a child (who is endorsed in mother/father’s passport) can be endorsed. In such cases applicant has to submit the followings to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
a) hand written application for endorsement
b) 2 photographs (1 stamp size)
c) mother/father’s passport (where endorsement will be done)
d) residence permit of the father/mother
e) fees (bank deposit slip)

Change of profession:
Profession mentioned in the passport can be changed. Applicant has to submit the followings to the Consular section of the Embassy:
a) application
