ACTIVITIES OF THE HONORARY CONSUL GENERAL
IN BULGARIA
Current Honorary Consul of Bangladesh appointed on 1st of February 2005. His major activities are as follows:
- Maintaining constant contact with the Bangladeshi citizens in Bulgaria. Attending meetings of the community on different occasions.
- Assistance for issuance of visas type D for Bangladeshi citizens.
- Assistance in solving a dispute between a Bulgarian citizen and a Bangladeshi citizen - permanent resident in Bulgaria.
- Meet queries on different companies which participated in special tenders in Bangladesh on request of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Turkey.
- Liaise with the companies working on contracting construction and other workers from Bangladesh to Bulgaria.
- Preparation of different references & information.
- Extend necessary assistance for the High level visits from Bangladesh and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sofia.
- Assisting and consulting Bulgarian citizens for their visits to Bangladesh.
